WTB- "junk" cf 28's

essentially looking for a fragged cf-28 to learn/experiment on. it doesnt have to power up, i need your paperweights here people...i am looking to learn on one before i tear mine down as i dont have a large wallet to play with if i screw up my working cf-28 trying to mod it. the threads are very helpful but as a visual learner, i pick things up by doing. i also am looking to try the bedliner mod posted in the forums and want to experiment on that as well...
on a budget so obviously the cheaper the better...thanks

 

I have a working MK1 CF-28 that is in complete condition and working order, make offer, only thing wrong is it did not have a screen protector and the display is pretty scratched

 

not gonna lie connor, no idea what offer and i dont want to be insulting. i got the one im gonna mod for $50 and am really lookin to not spend more on one that i plan on disassembling to learn how to properly mod my existing one. this is why i am lookin for non functioning paperweights. i mean, if you'll take 50 for yours, sweet, but i doubt thats the case...lemme know what youre lookin to get and maybe we could come to an accord...

 

Do you need all the parts? I might sell for $50 if I keep the caddy and extra memory, i would be willing to leave the rubber backlit keyboard on it though, and Ill leave the battery in, I have no idea if its still any good. Its been sitting in storage for a while, it was formerly a MDC computer in a command vehicle at the fire department I work for

 

that is EXACTLY what i would be lookin for...i don't need those parts, just the structure so i can learn what i'm doing.

 

I have a 600Mhz model that is empty of battery, RAM, HDD and caddy. It does have a black keyboard. How about $40 plus $12 shipping?

way im looking at it, i walk away with 2 cf 28s i can experiment on for just over $100...i would have to spend a TON more if i goof up my working one...
