I need either of the following parts for a CF-18D

    1. Keyboard Key cap and retainer for my missing "Tab" key.

    2. 1 metal screw on LCD cover that locates/aligns the LCD enclosure with the top cover when the laptop is closed. Its those screws that are on the top left and right of the LCD bezel, with the plastic ring around it near each top corner of the LCD. I only need the 1 screw.

Will need to be shipped to Melbourne Australia.

    PayPal waiting.

    Stumo...

You may be better off trying to get a new keyboard... Those tiny little keys are awfully tough to swap out... Especially on the tiny keyboard of the CF-18.

One place I have started going for crews for my Toughbook is the hobby shop. All those Radio Controlled cars, trucks and planes use mostly metric screws. I have never failed to find one that fits. It may be a different color or have a different top (ALA Hex Head instead of Philips Head) but they do fit.

As a matter of fact... I have started to replace the screws on a lot of my custom toughbooks with these hex head screws. The great thing is that they don't strip out. But then again... It's another tool you need to buy! ;)

Hope this helps. If nothing else... It will get you back on your feet temporarily.

i recommend warcom for spare parts in Victoria - fast service most of the time (exept at the moment where im trying to get the black bezel bits that have snapped off mine)
