Looking for a harddrive cable for the CF-28. The cable that goes from the JAE 50 to the IDE 2.5" connector.

I don't need the rubber pull tab, I don't need the caddy itself.

My cable was somehow damaged before I got it.

I purchased one off ebay, but the JAE connector is too short and won't make connection! :(

I have yet to have gotten my toughbook running. :(

The only way to get just the cable is to buy from Heartlandsi.com.... I doubt anyone would have just the cable itself...

It wasn't the exact seller, however the pic is the same.... and the location is the same. I'm sure it's the same people.

Does anyone know the price on the cable itself from HeartlandSI? And the part number....

The one from ebay was much cheaper then oem too.... it was thinner, and I had to punch out the hole in the middle of the cable myself! Not impressed.

You will need the part # before you call them . Someone here might have it or can get it for you. Oh if you check out Heartlandsi.com don't bother clicking on "our store" ..they have none :( been that way for at least a year that I know of and I tried to email them but all I got was " please call " But the lady I talked to was very nice.

Just an off topic question how do you find out part numbers? Do you chat with the ladies at heartland and they help you figure out what it is your looking for?
