It seems that replacing the motherboard will prove less of a hassle than trying to repair or replace the USB connector -- odd as that may sound.

Anyone have one that is good for a CF-28S3QGBDM?

    Thanks!

    Doc,
How about a very clean MK-2, non touch, no ram, HD, caddy, battery or power supply for $80 plus shipping, all ports and covers clean and in place. Add $50 for rubber backlit keyboard.

Not to hijack your business, but I have a working motherboard for a CF-28S3 that I would be willing to sell. I would just need to check the specifics on it, which I can do later this evening.

Is it acceptable for me to make an offer, given that Capt. has already done so?

Got one from a Forum member and it has been stuffed from the dead one and is back online.

Now, do I Dremel the old one into a carrying case for my little Samsung NB30 or pass it on to someone and find a different case for my Netbook?

    Thanks!
