Well, it finally happened. My backlight went out on my main toughbook, and unfortunately I gave my spare inverter away a while back. (I also gave away my other 800MHz toughbook to a friend... )

Anyways, I need an inverter. I can pay cash, or trade some GPS parts (I've got a spare RIM board and GlobalSat module. I have no spare antennas though). Anybody got something?

    Thanks!

Hi. I have complete screen from CF-28, 600MHz. Could possibly take it apart. Problem is, I have no idea how the inverter looks like :D Can't get PM's yet, Email: [email protected]

Nevermind on the inverter. I was using my 600 MHz toughbook, and when it kept crashing on me repeatedly, I threw it across the garage as hard as I could, and it cracked the screen on impact with the concrete. I took the backlight inverter out of that, and put it in my 800, and now all is well.

I finally got Oregon license plates for the hearse last week. It runs like a champ still, but my radiator has a small pinhole leak in the bottom of the side reservoir. Other than that, it works fantastic.

Still only gets 7mpg in the city though.

Everything else is fair. Work has slowed down horribly, so my paychecks are 3/4th of what they were 6 months ago (and less than they were back home too). Gotta find a new apartment soon too, since the landlords want us out.

    What's new with you?

Just trying to keep my head above water... Ebay sales have been slow but I have had a much appreciated spurt in sales here in the last 10 days or so. I am now out of CF-29s and only have CF-18s in stock... I'll be ordering more 29s this week. I just need to find some that are in good condition. That is getting harder and harder all the time.
