    Hi, anyone got one that they want to part with? I need one for a CF-31 I just bought!

    Also, if anyone reading this has both units, please verify that the CF-30 door will not fit. I have already been told that it would not once, but the person that told me no did not seem sure, or maybe my wishful thinking coloured the answer for me! LoL!

    Sorry, no joy. On the CF-31 the latch mechanism is centered on the top of the door. On the CF-30 it is offset enough to the left that it won't mate on a 31. Maybe other differences if I took them off the chassis, but didn't bother since the latch alignment problem, in and of itself, is clearly a swap stopper. I have a parts "donor" for some of the other Toughbooks - but not the the 31 -- at least not yet! Good luck with your parts hunt.

    CF30 door will not work..
    CF30.... 36mm high
    CF31....41mm high
    Shawn...Not high at all....But many days I wish....

    The part number is... DFKE8205ZA-0.... MP COVER ASSY

    Thanks Kardan! I KNEW that Shawn was BSing me!

    All I need is four CF-30 doors, then cut and TIG them so that they fill the larger opening and accommodate the offset latch! A little grinding and paint, and it WILL WORK...
