    Someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesnt the CF-29 power cords work on those also?

    I think pretty much the CF-18/29/and 74 chargers are the same, I think theres some more that cross too but I know those for sure so if you can find a genuine panasonic one on ebay (theres plenty) they're usually like $25ish

    careful, the 18/19 charger is 2.5 amp, the 29 charger is 5 amp. You can use the 29 charger on the 18/19, but I wouldn't suggest going the other way.

    And the panasonic chargers go all the way up to 8 Amp
    I have run my Toughbooks on missmatched chargers as I have three in various places, and have run my cf-30 off the cf-19 3.75A low amperage type for years, at times
    What happens is not a over heating overloaded charger, but a reduced charging rate

    Its still not recomended ,but possible

    I have when the laptop has been off.... Charges a heck of a lot slower though...

    The 8 amp chargers for the 74 and 52 are hard to find, and the sellers usually know that, as you can tell by the asking price!

    Anyone have a link for a GOOD one?
