The best thing you can do is to open up the screen and look for a model no at the back of it and then look on evilbay. If you have no luck for the same model no. ask a replacement or compatible one to an LCD reseller. They know that. Good Luck.

You will probably have to split open the screen and get the actual part numbers and who made the screen.

The part number is L5EDDYY00038 - the only site that lists it is http://www.partstore.com/Part/Matsua/Panasonic/L5EDDYY00038.aspx but they have very low reseller ratings.

It's a Japanese model, and the original reseller (Dynamism) said Panasonic US won't allow them to order parts for it. They can work directly with Panasonic Japan, for >2 week turnaround and over $1000.

Is anyone aware of a .jp reseller that will sell/ship to the US?

You have two choices, call up heartlandsi at 1-913-685-8855 and get a price from them. They'll want a model # and serial #, and be sitting down when they give you the price. Then sit down again for the shipping cost! Your other route is to get as much information about your existing LCD and contact a dealer, you might as well start with gray-beard's suggestion to buy a replacement. Your LCD is almost certainly not made just for your Y7,I have never seen one so I don't know anything about your model. If you are not comfortable with taking your LCD out of the housing, find someone to help you out or ask questions on the main forum. We are always glad to help out.

I opened up the screen and found model number LTD141ENFP. I'll repost a request in general

 

Thats what I am talking about. You now have a model no. Now ask this reseller of LCD what is a replacement one to the model that you had. Here is the reseller on ebay that probably know a replacement one "expresslcdscreens08" or to any LCD reseller that you can find on evilbay. Good luck.
