I'm looking into getting a Toughbook tablet and I'd like to see what's available here. I have a pretty good idea of what's a fair price for both the CF-18 and CF-19, but I'd still like to know about any offers regardless of price so I'd rather not turn anyone away by listing what I'd think is fair to pay.

My main considerations are the condition of the screen including any dead pixels or bright/dark spots, the condition of the casing and I'd prefer all the port covers be intact and in especially good condition, or if any are missing I'd like an idea of where to get replacements for cheap. Just to make sure I'm clear, I may still be interested in one with problems like this but I want to be fully aware of what the problems are.

I want the screen as bright as possible, but as far as I know the 1000-nit version of the CF-19 is only available on the later models and I'm not looking to buy any of the newest models at least at the prices they are going for now (not even remotely interested in spending 2000-3000 or whatever the newer ones are at right now). I'd appreciate any assistance on exactly what screens are available on each of the models if anyone could be so kind. I'd also love to know if it's possible to just buy the 1000 nit screen and install it on a CF-19 MK1 or CF-18.

I'm interested in both digitizer and dual-mode touch screens, but possibly not JUST touchscreen but feel free to offer anyways. I'd really like GPS built into the unit, or again if not, an idea of where to get it separately.

    Anyone have any offers?

One thing you don't want is a Panasonic's GPS .It's no good .Look at the aftermarket ones like customs-toughbooks sells. Check this out http://toughbooktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=232 + http://www.custom-toughbooks.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66&products_id=183 + http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=custom-toughbooks&ftab=AllFeedback

We buy all our parts from http://www.heartlandsi.com/ but you will need the part # before calling and shipping is like $20.00

My CF-18 with onboard OEM GPS seems to work just fine. It picks up 3 to 5 satellites in the house and up to 8 while driving.
