    Connor,
No, the MKI has a different sealing system, better IMHO, and will not fit.
Grav, I too have only a MKI bottom cover available.

Grav... I'm sure I have one around somewhere... It may not be too pretty looking though...

Yeah.. the MkI uses a plastic cover, the II and III use a magnesium stamping. They're not exactly the same but close enough that I've wondered if the plastic cover could be modified to fit. That'll be my next experiment if I don't come up with a mag. cover pretty soon :)

    Grav,
My MKI has a magnesium bottom, its just that there is a tall ridge which acts as a seal. The MKII and MKIII don't have this seal. The last time I checked, there was also an issue with the height of the hard drive on the later models.

Yup... I have 5-6 600 MHz CF-28s... They have both the plastic and magnesium... But neither will fit the 800&1000 models.

Grav... The 600s can't be made to fit. The lip on the back part of the 600 is entirely different and the front is too. You might be able to get it to "fit".... But it wouldn't be pretty... Or be sealed well.

    I have a couple of battery covers if that's what you're looking for. I think 2 for 6's and 2 for 8's.

Not to mention that I have about 20 CF28 600's and a dozen or so caddies with bad hard-drives. I will be cleaning them up for Fleabay selling.

Make me an offer or email me at [email protected].
