I have tried looking everywhere online and can't find a parts dealer. Also can't find any broken laptops to slavage, heh.

We get our new parts from Heartland, very expensive and high shipping. CPUs can not be purchased separately from the motherboard, they are surface mount. You are now in the right place to find a used one, but we strongly recommend you spend a little time on the Stickies at the beginning of the forum so you can get a little knowledge of your machine before you go shopping. Welcome to the Forum.

Heartland is unresponsive, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and their online store is unfunctional.

(913)-685-8855 ??!?!?!?!? I don't know about that... I'm not saying you're wrong, but I've placed orders from these guys for the last 5 years and have NEVER been placed on hold.

Jen or Kristin are the two ladies who answer the phones.

    Thanks
