    1) Panasonic Toughbook CF-28, P3, 600MHz, 256 MB, 20GB, CD Rom, Linux Mint 4.0 Installed, 12" touchscreen (though I can't make Linux driver work). There is a wireless card installed and recognized (from a HP laptop) but I have not run any antenna for it.

I bought this to use at the summer camp I host. Last year the kids destroyed my HP, so I picked up the toughbook for camp. I learned a lot about linux, and have been absolutely amazed at how much a 600 MHz computer can do. It runs very stable. I am selling it because I picked up an X61, and the toughbook is no longer getting the love it deserves. The toughbook did great at camp, but I mostly used the x61 because the toughbook has no battery.

So this toughbook needs to go to a new home that will take care of her and appreciate her for what she is.

    2) Definitely well used, I bought it last year and have used it a lot this year. Lots of scratches, but it IS a toughbook.

    4) $280 $260 $240 $195 (price includes shipping)

    5) Money Order or Paypal

    6) USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation included in sale price, International for actual shipping

    7) ebay id: wallyrulz, candlepowerforums id: wallyrulz... lots of transactions on both, ebay since 1999, cpf since 2004.

    8) This notebook has lots of wear. Missing pcmcia cover, and the back cover can come off, but it seals tight. No battery. Everything works, and with linux it is very usable. There is a COA for Windows 2000 on the bottom.

    Thanks for looking!

I thought this was a good price, maybe someone can fill me in why there is no interest?

It's a 600mhz, it's missing the battery, the pcmcia cover, and it has a 12" screen. You might try putting it on Ebay with a starting price of $100.

Its hard to get more than $300 on ebay for a 28 complete in good condition, 800mhz, 13" touchscreen, and a battery.

Big price drop. Only $195 for a working toughbook with everything except battery.
