I'll say it again... Your offer is VERY generous.... This is the BEST keyboard for the CF-28.... I had the keyboards but no sensors and inverters.... Or I would have sold the kit for $200 easy!

I can't believe that the CF-28 crowd isn't jumping in with both feet for this one. You set up is complete and almost impossible to find all the parts together.... Someone needs to "man-up" and get one...

Dood... Are you talking about retro-modding the CF-28 emissives into the CF-29? Sheesh... And I just sold 40 of the things....

No, other way around. Have several CF-29 type emissive chicklet keyboards, and found a different power circuit for CF-28 chassis that works with these. Only have 3 of these. Might become a "super" keyboard upgrade kit.

Yeah... I can't tell you how many of the CF-29/30 emissive keyboards I stupidly installed into CF-28s.... But I was getting good money for them at the time so I guess it is all relative.

The inverter for the CF-29 style has the little black transistors instead of the 3-4 white boxes... Is that right?

Right, the little Texas shaped circuit board with transistors instead of the white boxes (capacitors?) provides lower voltage (3-5 vdc) to light up the CF-29 style keyboards. Those keyboards sure are pricey but have to admit they have a nice feel and may just a tad bit more rugged than the CF-28 emissives.

    Tuff-Kit #1 review

I am a steel fabricator and mechanic by trade, with that in mind.

Prior Tuffbook experience: Outpatient surgery ( wireless card with flag antennas )

I found the instructions very well done. Easy to follow and well illustrated.Heed the curse of the brown connector. Parts were as described, in excellent condition, and packaged very well. The screwdriver and tape is a real nice touch to make this a complete Tuff-Kit. Transaction was flawless. Prompt shipping. Will get Tuff-Kit #2 soon.

Minor surgery complete: Patient stable and in full recovery with a nice green glow!

Ken is a pleasure to deal with and supplies a great product.
