Guys and Girls, I am willing to trade some CF-29 DVD drives and Hard drive Caddies for a 15.4" WUXGA LCD for a CF-52MLBBD2M. it was shipped to Heartland for repairs and they want 1299$ for a new LCD screen, so needless to say it was returned to us. I am not willing to trade all the DVD drives and caddies in the pic but we can negotiate a fair "VALUE" trade. I have 9 CF-29L caddies, 4 CF-29N caddies, 1 CF-29E caddies and 12 CF-29 DVD drives. All the caddies have the ribbon cables, heater coils and copper backing still intact.

PM was recieved, I am not sure if a screen from a MK1 can go into a MK3. If one of the more experienced Toughbook guys in here can chime it would help.

A couple years ago I got an aftermarket LCD and installed it my CF-52GCNBEAM. It works nice the installation was no problem the screw up was I got a glossy screen.
I'll look that outfit up in my archives lol. Seems like they were in Washington State. Is was about a buck fifty or less. $150. Reputable bunch in my estimation. mmmmm maybe LCD4less? I'll see if I can find it.

    FWIW

@Sadlmkr, Thank you for the reply and thank you for giving a look into who you got your from. My problem is that I do not have money to give for the correct LCD, but I do have extra parts from different marks of CF-29's. I work for Verizon Telecom in Texas and this CF-52 is just over 1 year old and would hate to lose it for just a broken screen. I have many CF-29's sitting inside filing cabinets and would be willing to trade parts for the correct LCD screen.

What's the brand and model number of the screen? The WUXGA screen I found did not specify matte or glossy. I have a screen here I think is WUXGA.
The important part is the wide flat connector in the screen. Do you have a picture? Maybe a picture of all the numbers.
    Thanks,

    Jeff

Google that part number. I found a few hits under 100 dollars. You got a little more info on it in PM.
