I am looking for a back cover or lid if you will for a CF19 mk3 or later.
I am going to repaint it so I don't care about the finish.

This is one for a mk1 or mk2..
    Yes a mk3-mk7 is different.

I was thinking Safety Orange to go with the Safety Yellow of the CF31.
I did order some type 3 glass bead reflective powder. 35 micron.

heh ... you could add that glass bead powder to eye shadow and lip gloss .
    might start a new fad/trend .

can you get the bead powder in colors or just "clear" ?
what will a clear color (think candy apple types) overcoat do ?

The bead powder is usually clear, but you can use whatever base color you want.
They do not recommend overcoating the beads.
I did order the super intensity reflective powder. That way if overcoating causes some loss it may still be ok.
I do plan on testing with a overcoat.

I can think of one "profession" where reflective body paint would be interesting.
    It involves poles.

ahhh ... physics ... north and south poles .

i am thinking that those beads would not stay in place if moved around ... as opposed to fixed signage .
sort of like those old 8/16mm projector screens .

*something* about peeling off of the pole ...
    but i shall digress .

i'll do some digging out in the shed ... i may have one .
i got a box of crap from a place down in the cities several months ago .
a customer brought it to me ... came from a place that his brother rented to open up shop in .
(he said something about a lot of stuff left behind ... might take a little sojourn with him)
he knew about the cf stuff from me .
he said it looked similar to mine and what he had seen pictures of .
