    Drill, file, pliers and tin snips (poultry shears?) would make one. View from bottom down below.

    Lid from sardine can for material.

    If I was designing this I would make it from nylon. Like a toothbrush handle.

    Of course I am the guy that's building a heat shroud from a computer tower case and it's 34 miles round trip to town. :D

    Can someone (moderators) please explain to me why the image temporarily disappeared?

    It took a bit of time (about an hour) to come up with a decent cropped image.

    If I am doing it wrong please explain the correct procedure.

    Images are randomly broken on NBR. They have been for quite some time.
    You did not do anything wrong.


    To the original poster..
    Why worry about the cover? The sim opening is behind a sealed door.
    If you really need to cover the sim opening, maybe use a black sticker.
