We are looking to purchase a Panasonic Toughbook (refurbished as new ones are too hard to find & we need it right away). We don't mind Ebay but don't want to use Paypal. Does anyone know where we can find one of these and just pay with Credit Card? It's ok to message us privately. We already have a CF29 but the hard drive is too small and it does not have the built in CD/DVD ROM. Thanks!

A few questions. Do you need another laptop, or are you just trying to get one with the larger hard drive and CD/DVD? Which model 29 do you prefer? Is credit card your only means of payment? Any further info you can provide would help us help you.

any reason you don't want to pay with paypal? the way policies have shifted it is easier to get shafted as a seller than a buyer. plus if you can still use your credit card with paypal, I don't think you even need an account. I think BestBuy Business sells them although they are new (read: higher price) and they take 2-3 weeks to ship at least that is what they said when I was looking to purchase one there. How fast do you need one?

oops just noticed you are looking for CF-29 ignore best buy paypal stuff still applies

I bought a CF-29NDLGFBM last night on ebay, 1.6 Mhz backlit, wireless blah blah cost me about $530 shipped. I have been shopping for a few weeks, there are a bunch on ebay. almost all of them are from companies that sell used computers and equipment and they all take credit cards that I have seen. I understand your need to pay with a company credit card? eno801 is correct about paypal and using a credit card, very easy to do. there are several very nice CF-29's on ebay with a buy it now under $1000 bucks that are loaded and ready to go out of the box.

Aaa hah... so you won that! Was watching it when I noticed backlit keyboard. Hated those "pain in the neck to type" rubber ones and regular chicklet ones don't light up...

    Where are you located?
If you are close to any of the sellers here, cash would be your only choice
Paypal is safer but depending on where you are located there is retailers that would sell to you with a CC only

yep, I won it. I really NEED one at this point. it has gone beyond WANT. I use a laptop for work and my HP has a broken hings on one side from the abuse. I would like to have gotten a touchscreen but backlit is more important as is processor speed. it was always a trade off. to get a 1.6Mhz, backlit and touchscreen seemed to always be close to $1000 bucks. I really don't know which backlit KB I just bought, I hope it is one that I like? I have read on here that maybe I can swap a display and put a touchscreen on the one I just got off ebay. that is for another thread though. this is a small community isn't it! in the wide world of ebay look how many of us were looking at the same toughbook! LOL
