I bought my ''new'' cf-29 from ebay but came w/a busted -> (right arrow key) The keyboard is the standard type but the arrow keys are chiclet style. I need the cover, and the mechanism underneath it (2 part- plastic zig-zag ) along w/the rubber button.

Anyone w/a scrapped keyboard that would decide to part it out?

    Thank you

Thanks for the heads up. I already inspected the innards, and the metal hooks are fine. The plastic pivot things are fubar and the rubber grommet thing is loose (i'm guessing this is somehow glued onto the pad?

Yeah, I need a key (one of the key's plastic hooks broke off), and the two plastic things under it. Unless the rubber ''nipple'' has torn off (rather than come lose) i may need that too. Hopefully I can have the seller reimburse me on this since he failed to disclose that little detail.

Depending on your budget and interest I could send you a keyboard to play with. Or if you want a single key that's doable. Get the seller to send you a keyboard if you can.

The problem for new members (by the way welcome) is exchanging contact info. Do you want to put your email in your contact information?

i updated to receive info from members and admins. I really rather like private messages much better, but can't see that function

In all honesty, i've dumped about 225 on this mki (i'm thinking i over payed), so whatever gets me up and running on the least is best.
