I am really hard up on cash but interested in snatching this refurbished VPCEA490X from Sony's outlet. Its supposed to be a Intel Pentium 2GHz, 14", 4gb RAM, 500g HDD but am wondering if you guys think it will be a good deal considering the really low price (and with the 20% outlet coupon, it even comes to about $450). How bad in a shape will the laptop be (I mean scratches, dents, wear and tear...) or are sony's refurbs always almost new?? thanks

Sony refurbs generally come in good shape but that' not always the case, it could be anything. Also remember that there's only a 90 day warranty. I also don't think that it has an Intel Pentium.
