Hi all,
I am very intrested in purchasing a Sony Tz in the future. I know the ultra portable isnt a gaming machine, but im very curious to how much FPS i can squeeze out of the TZ while playing WOW (assume all lowest setting, and native resolutions.)
World of Warcraft doesnt have a very demanding graphic requirment and in the past i have sucessfuly installed it on a macbook 1.8ghz intel gma with decent FPS result.
I would b really grateful if any TZ owners can post benchmark or FPS for WOW. Or any other game in that matter....
thnx in advance for the support.

anyone can shed some light?
10 million Wow subscribers...someone out there must own a TZ hehe -
somewhere around 16-20
-
thnx for the info human668... i guess 16-20 is playable for some light questing and tradeing but probly wont cut it for a group raid. -
anyone else care to help? i googled this many times with no result,
hopefuly next time someone googles this subject this thread will help.
in the meantime if anyone is looking for a world of warcraft performance comparison on the IBM thinkpad X60 /x61 tablet...here is a great video by Nottes to help:

I highly doubt you can get much answer here, as I believe no one here will actually want to try to install WoW, as TZ is really for business. E.g. Office, internet, email....... And I believe majority of TZs are actually bought by work...

No anyway I think you will get more than that, maybe something around 30...
I'm not sure, but at low level, it should be OK... -
Hihi
long time trolls but guess I can finally contribute
In-game SS of Shattrath, I wouldn't say its playable. Its probably okay to check the AH, chat or do a Transmute but you definitely wouldn't wanna go Raid, Arena or even BG's with this.
Screenshot taken on the TZ with PrintScreen function. Video setting all low~ 1366x768 Wide Resolution though
Shattrath City (This is on a Saturday, with not many plugins as shown in SS)
Orgimmar :x
I don't think the game can get any more lag than this spot. 4.8fps (slowest it can get)
Eye of the Storm
My first time playing something on TZ '~" Not very pleasing, I ended up just quit battleground :3
I wouldn't suggest it. Not only the keys on the TZ keyboard are smaller than usual (25% smaller I believe) but I wouldn't want those letters to be scratched off or.. getting the glossy area all scratched up because I was jamming my macros
Like most people here, I myself also uses it for work but a quick check on Auction House or Transmute just to burn cooldown wouldn't hurt -
great info all.. thnx to all for taking the time to contribute (specially maiev <3 the great shots)....considering all this info, im very tempted to go for the carbon SZ
thnx again all...
