I got my Z11 back from the Sony repair center (rubbish service by the way). They replaced the bottom case, ever since I have noticed that it looks like there is a mesh type pattern on the screen.

It looks as if a see through denim or cotton fabric has been placed over it, it is most noticable over light colours, and seems to be worse if you gently move the laptop around.

It can be seen in the BIOS so doesn't seem to be a software issue, I wonder if they have pinched a cable etc?

    Anyone else had this issue?

Could you post up a photo that demonstrates this mesh pattern? It would be difficult though..

Does the pattern change when you rotate (like forwards and backwards) the LCD?

I'll try and get a photo.

If I rotate the screen it does seem to change, this is when I rotate it like a clock face, meaning 45 degrees clock wise or anti clock wise.

Are you sure you're not just seeing the pixels on the screen? It bugs me a lot with WXGA resolution on screens 15.4" and above, etc.

Yeah i'm pretty sure, it only started happening when I got it back from the Viao repair center, it is quite bad.
