I'm one click away from purchasing a customized A130 Vaio, except live sales people hasn't been much help since all they do is copy/paste. Anyway if you guys can help, I need to know if the A series has an integrated/shared video ram or is it dedicated? What also sucks is the speed of the harddrive (it's only 4200 rpms) and perhaps the battery life..

The deciding factor is the vram, if it is indeed shared, then I'd have to back out and buy a Gateway 450XL, with dedicated video ram ATI radeon 9600 :D

Originally though, I was going with the 450XL, but since that Sony A series popped out, I'm torn between two models, I love Sony's design and features, but are the specs good? Vice versa, the 450XL specs are great, but such mediocre interior design and less features.

Thanks in advance for your help! :D

I'm sure you've seen the specs, which are here.

I don't think its shared memory, but if you're looking for high graphical power then the A130 doesn't have it, the graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 64 MB.
