I have an FW510 and was wondering if I could add a second hard drive in the place of the OD. The searches mainly returned results for AW series which officially supports a 2nd HDD. I replaced the primary drive with an Intel SSD and would like to keep the hard drive that came with it as a spare one for storage.

I know laptops from other manufacturers can use this, but has any Sony FW owner done it successfully (using OBHD or any other caddy)?

    Thanks.

No one? I guess 2nd HDD is not very popular among FW owners ...

Were you able to find out if you could add a second drive? I'm thinking of getting the 80gb Intel SSD as well and would like to see if I can keep the original drive without having to put it in an external enclosure.
