    Hi people.

I've brought my SZ4 for about almost three months now but I still haven't got a case / sleeve for it yet and I really think it's about time too. Been looking around, but not sure what to get, want a quality snug fit one. Love Crumplers, but not sure what size. Also love these two, but will they fit properly though? One looks too small in some pics the other too big sometimes.

Sony VGP-CKSZ1 (Look at the gap!!!)

Sony VGP-CKS1 (Too small for SZ? Since its for S?)

I prefer the CKS1 though ^^^ if it fits and tad bit cheaper as well.

    Many thanks! :)

I think the S case will be too small, as the Sony S was a smaller notebook than the SZ. (Check dimensions though, I just think the S looks way smaller). I would go with the SZ case, just because that is the case designed for that notebook.

I am using the VGP-AMC1 from SONY, it is made specifically for the SZ. It fits the SZ snuggly.

I have a Tumi leather briefcase:

And use the Tumi notebook insert:

The insert is padded, and the bottom of the notebook is suspended by elastic around 1/2 an inch from the true bottom edges of the sleeve. As a result, the notebook is secured and 'floating' above the ground. Been using this for years with my Z1 and never had an issue whatsoever with the notebook getting bumped or bruised.

I bought the CKSZ1 and its brilliant, those pictures dont really show it that well, it fits very well and the protection is the best Ive ever seen on a case, I would normally never buy a sony case as they are normally over priced, but once I seen one of the CKSZ1 in the flesh, I bought it on the spot.

Pop into a Sony Center and you will see what I mean.

    S.

Ps. The S case does not fit the SZ, I tried it the same day in the Sony Center.

Damn! Thanks Seanpburke for the info - I love that CKS1 too, cause my mate used to have one, but shame that it doesn't fit my SZ4 :(.

I would go for the CKSZ1 but that gap looks huge, don't want it banging around on my beloved laptop.

How much does the VGP-AMC1 cost, fastorange? I've never seen that bag before. :)

I'll look up zeroshock, wonder if its available in the UK.

Thanks people. But I'm having real trouble finding the recommended cases from you people like the ZeroShock - couldn't find it anywhere online over here online. :( And the same goes for the VGP-AMC1.

Might have to get the CKSZ1 which I don't really like cause it doesn't look like a snug-fit. Ah!!!

I just purchased SZ650N/C from amazon and VGP-CKSZ1 from overstock for just $27.94(including shipping).

Can't want to have them! Thanks to everyone on this great forum.

I also favor the neoprene case which is sold with SZ models at Sony Style stores....it is very snug, and there is a nice snug case for the adapter as well.
