Hi 2 all
I have notebook Sony VAIO:
Product Name: SVE1712T1RB
Model: SVE171C11V
Service Tag: C904Q6BF
Intel Ivy Bridge-MB IMC
Intel Panther Point HM76
BIOS: InsydeH2O® UEFI BIOS R0140D6 v.1.40
OS: Win10 x64
CPU: Intel® i5-3210M
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7650M (Sony)
Display: CMN N173FGE-L23 LVDS 40 pin 2-channel
Wireless card: Atheros AR9485WB-EG
I want to upgrade next components:
- Display: to IPS (AH-IPS or AHVA) FullHD (1920*1080) or QuadHD (2160*1440). Which (display module, not resolution) prefer? Here is problem: display is LVDS 40-pin. So i need to buy adapter LVDS => eDP or LVDS 40 pin => 50 pin? Which will give more freedom?
- Microphone: (is it possible?)
- Web-camera: to camera with better quality (is it possible?). To which?
- RAM: upgrade to 16-32 GB, but here have some problem. Chipset supports up to 16GB, CPU - up to 32 GB, OS is 64-bit - supports many GB...but motherboard supports only up to 8GB. Is there any ways to solve it? Which RAM-kit prefer? Is there any reviews of good SO-DIMM DDR3 kits?
- HDD: to 850 | 860 Samsung EVO SSD 500-1000 GB
- CPU: to i7-3632QM
- Wi-Fi | Bluetooth: to Intel® Wireless-AC 9260 / Rivet Network Killer Wireless-AC 1550. What I need is 802.11ac / ax + BT 5.0. But don't know if bus between module & MoBo will support full speed of module - need your help.
What I need to do with motherboard / BIOS? Cos many people says that all devices are in BIOS so I will need to modify it & how2 know is there any hardware whitelist?
What will be bottleneck in config (excluding GPU) & is it possible to solve it?
Am I right that there is only SATA-150 (SATA2) support?

4. RAM: 16GB should be more than enough
5. and 7.
no problem, go ahead.
HDD: Should be SATA3.
Don't think there will be problems with BIOS, except maybe for the CPU Upgrade.
the rest - sorry, no clue.

Now I'am trying 2 find DreamColor FullHD-displays.
Question is another bottlenecks which can be
Which will be better as Wi-Fi | BT-card vendor:
Qualcomm
Broadcom
or
Intel
Which will be better as RAM-kit:

- CL - 11
- tRCD - 12
- tRP - 13
- tRAS - 34
- RC - 48
- CR - 2T
- tRFC - 278
- tWR - 16
- tFAW - 25
So I'd prefer 2 buy another kit. G.Skill Ripjaws F3-2133C11D-16GRSL for example, but it's bit hard 2 find it.
F3-1866C11D-16GRSL (as next option) has next parameters:
- CL - 9
- tRCD - 9
- tRP - 9
- tRAS - 28
- RC - 37
- CR - 2T
- tRFC - 208
I think with SSD also will be no problem.
So, first will be RAM. Next - ROM. Next - display. Next - CPU. Next - WiFi-combo.
