    just a few days ago i discovered something horrible on my laptop...
    my "connection card", i believe thats how u call it, is broken...

    at first i connected an ethernet cable, but it didnt work. i thought it was the modem that broke down.. i got the cable guy to come and changed it and still the same... so a friend of mine checked out my laptop and discovered that....

    so now i have to repair my almost new laptop... :mad: have to find a way in using my warranty over here in mexico :S

    any advices?

    Yes, NEVER buy a Sony again!

    HP is more then good enough, and parts are tonns cheaper with HP.
    you can however buy a connectioncard USB-LAN or something.
    They will require you to install software, but you can get them for something like $25..

    yeah... sounds Ok.

    well Hp isnt that great :p .. my uncle bought a desktop HP, but the cd burner thing didnt work at all (that was why he bought lol). so he returned i for a fix.. 2 months later it comes with other problems!!

    untill 6 or 7 months passed he tried to sue Hp mexico cause they didnt wont to return the money nor fix the freaking computer :S

    so thats why i wouldnt say great :D

    thx for that opinion anyway
