    hello,

as the topic suggests: is there some kind of modified or different driver that i can install to get the 'what you hear' input of my internal soundcard?

i remember that the solution for my old dell was to use a driver from LG notebooks, which enables the input.

is there something similar for the vpc-z?

    thanks!

edit: sorry for the misspellt topic title.. must be 'hear'.. maybe some admin or webmaster could corrct this?

The "Stereo Mix" feature depends upon the audio driver you are using. Some driver lock this feature. Use a different audio driver.

For my FZ (with Sigmatel card), I had made a modded new driver which enables the "Stereo Mix" feature.

You can try the driver from the realtek website.

its an audio input device which streams the current audio output. with it you can route the output of you music player or so to another audio software to record it or drive sound reactive application.
