Hi guys, I just bought a VGN-C220E from my uncle, and as soon as I loaded the thing I found myself in crapware heaven. How would I go about doing a perfectly (I hope it is possible) clean install with a still, fully, functional laptop?

Is it possible to change it to Win-XP Professional? I'd rather have Vista though, since I already am very familiar with Win-XP.

I was also given a Vista Upgrade by my uncle, Business express upgrade, if that helps any.

I'll be searching the forums for myself to see if I can find a solution, but maybe someone can point me in the right direction or tell me that I'm doomed to live with bloat-ware infested pc. Either way thanks in advance.

Well, I just did a clean Vista install on my FZ180E earlier today, but you can install XP but you would need to hunt down all the drivers. I used the instructions listed on this link: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=144783 and used a anytime upgrade Vista 32 Bit DVD that came with my Toshiba X205-9349 and I am so glad I did my laptop is running much batter and boots quicker without all the bloatware that they stick in there. Good Luck!!
