Why such a small screen has too high resolution and display? You can't see the differ between 720p and in 1080p i think..

oh, it will be quite noticeable - unless you scale up by changing the DPI setting.

And why - well, you can fit more onto the same screen unless you up the DPI.
Would I rather have my old 1024*768 whih was 14 or 15" or my 13,3" 1280*800 - I take the smaller one.

Many of us on this forum have the 13 inch Vaio Z with a 1080p screen, but it's not really for the real estate as much as it is for the crispness of the screen.

it's quite common that 15" screens have 1366x768 px. imo, that is way too little space on the screen. for >15" I recommend at least WSXGA+ as it just delivers you more space for working in multiple windows. i find it kinda annoying when you have to scroll your a** off when you have a low res screen. if you have the higher resolution screen, you can at least decide if you want to screw your DPI up to prevent massive eye strain or have MUCH space to work on. (you can also lower the resolution, but compared to the native resolution with higher DPI you get kinda blurry image on the screen due to the downsizing) also, you should not forget that on a high res screen, HD vids look way better than downsized to a low resolution.

btw, I first thought a FHD in a Z (13,1") is way too small to read but afterwards I am happy with the extra display crispness I got in exchange.

I have the FHD in the Z, and it's for the real estate on a small screen.
