My Vaio TX drive died, will this work as a replacement?
Toshiba MK1214GAH 120GB --- Or suggest other possibilities. I would really like to increase the capacity while I'm at it.

    Thanks

The important consideration is the connector on the HDD. My G11 has the MK1011GAH which has what Toshiba call a LIF connector, which is a ribbon cable with a clamp. I think the T series uses the same.

However, this site gives a warning about connector compatibility but lists the MK1011GAH as having the same connector.

Samsung have a 160GB 1.8" HDD but I have yet to see it in the retail chain (there's two versions with different connectors).
