    I figured out the problem I have been having with my burns being limited to 2.4x. It seems that the Mat****a drive is not properly recognizing 16x DVD media (mine being Memorex). This seems like the type of thing that would be fixed with a firmware update, but I am having difficulty locating firmware updates for this drive. Anyone have this problem or know where to find updated firmware for this drive?

    There was a Firmware update releasabout two months ago or so, haven't installed it yet, so I can't tell you if it solves your problem. It's available over Sony Update
