This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have often wondered how people get banned. I was warned one time that I was breaking a forum rule, I quickly apologized and deleted my post. I wouldn't like to get banned from this site, I like it way too much.

    I want to test C300 on my Z11. For that I need to disassembling the notebook (remove the keyboard) and install C300. After test I want to return my Samsung SSD's. I don't want to dissembling the notebook two times and hope to test C300 on open machine

    you need to plug the keyboard back in to power the unit on. But you don't have to put all the screws back in if you are just testing.

    Members do not get banned for no reason. The vast majority of members will not recieve an infraction on this forum. However, in most cases the reasons for a ban cannot be discussed because the forum member is not there to respond themselves and also some members will not like their interactions disclosed.
    Let's get back now to the topic of this thread.
    I can say here though that MISQ has more than one user account and they've been asked to post with their original account.
