2 small issues with XP on the SZ450

Hi everyone. First, I'd like to say that this forum was extremely helpful in getting XP going on the XZ450. I have pretty much everything working except for a couple small issues.

1. the camera. I have the drivers installed, and it appears to be working. however, I can't get the sony software to recognize it. I need to make sure this camera is working, so if I need other software to do it, I can try that.

2. I have all of the Fn Buttons working except for the volume ones. I had them working at some point, but I think that after installing something else, they have stopped working. I don't know what I did to get them working(they just started working after installing a couple things and a reboot, I wasn't even trying to get them working at the time), and I don't even know what I installed to break them(again, wasn't trying to break them, but I went to adjust the volume and...it didn't).

Any help on these issues would be appreciated.

 

I'm not sure about the details, but I read something in the Vista Express Upgrade package sent with my Upgrade disk about the camera currently not working with VAIO software, and to check back to the Sony site for updates on this. It also mentioned that you can access the camera through Yahoo IM, MS Messenger, and the like.
