So I finally received my s13 and I love it, except for one thing. The screen looks like there is a lot of noise all over the tool bars and and menus, it kinda looks like static. Its really annoying is there a fix for this or is something set up wrong? Also the touch pad is off set and not flush, some parts of it is and some aren't. Should I go ahead and call sony for a replacement or a fix?

Definitely sounds as a call to Sony (especially about that noise)...
Try to capture it in a picture to support your claim (a screenshot probably doesn't show noise).

The noise seems odd, I would definitely contact Sony about that.

As for the trackpad that's pretty common with these integrated button trackpads - even Macbook Pros have the occasional QC issue with them. They are often slightly off-center or one corner may be sunken lower in the case.

Regarding the new S13A/S13P's new trackpads and multi-touch scrolling, has anyone experienced an issue with scrolling UP with two fingers? Scrolling down seems fine, but when I scroll UP, it sometimes doesn't register properly so it sometimes results in the cursor MOVING UP instead of scrolling. Anyone else experienced this?

It's funny how they did not manage to improve on the primary complaint about the S series and that is the lack of a high quality display. At least make it an option! The other issues are just as annoying, whether the Gpu throttling or the over-sized touchpad that makes clicking a hassle.

I have no problem clicking with the touchpad, its just that I have OCD and I saw that it was not level. As for the screen its starting to look like the noise effect is something from the matte finish. Its not doing it right now so I will wait it out and see if it was my compulsiveness to find something wrong.

also make sure the refresh rate is set to 60Hz rather than 40Hz.

You are awesome, I never even thought about that. It was set to 59Hz haha, I don't understand why they put it on 59Hz
