    Hi ,

I just received my notebook and noticed large gaps between the bezel and lcd. Mainly on the bottom border but even on top.

Are these bezels glued on? Or how is it attached. I have never seen a laptop with this issue.

Anyone with the 2012 vaio s series 15.5" care to check there bezels and tell me how it looks.

    thanks

I had a similar issue with the Sony SA, there was a gap in the center bezel on the lower portion of the screen. I could fit the end of a toothpick in! Looking in I could see some sticky substance, likely glue. I considered sending it in for replacement/repair, but simply pressed a little hard at it and it stuck back. Hasn't become an issue since. Lucky...

Most bezels now are held in with adhesives as it is easier t do and cheaper, it also allows the manufacture to make the display thinner. My hp screen bezel is held in place with double sided tape.

My S15 has also gaps in the bottom corners. Maybe we can fix it with some glue or tape?
