    So who is the manufacturer of the new 256GB SDD in the sony tt and new z models?

    I believe that it is 2 128GB SSD - but that is a guess.

    I guess set up in RAID but do we know what manufacturer Sony is using for the RAID 2x 128GB SSD's?

    yes Samsung and they are 128gb MLC SSDs :( yuck
    (striped to slim down and in RAID 0)

    the samsung SLC SSDs are fast.. but i'm not sure about the MLC SSDs...
    but i think if sony put it in their notebooks, it should be fast and perform well..
