I have everything working with Windows 7 Pro on a VGN-FS760/W as the title suggests. I used a combination of Vista and XP drivers for the VGN-FS760 (non /w model) from the Sony esupport site to get S button and Fn key functionality. For audio, Realtek now has a new release HD audio driver on their website for Windows 7 (R2.39). Links provided below.

After trying the XP drivers for the /W model, I had everything working except the volume Fn keys. Brightness, monitor control, hibernate, etc. all worked. I then discovered that there were Vista drivers on the FS760 page so I tried all of them but couldn't get the Sony Shared Library (SSL) to load, so I re-installed the XP version of SSL. Everything then worked.

Note that to get the S buttons to work, I had to run VCCSpecialButton.exe from the Setting Utility Series in the Sony Program folder. It seems that once it's been run, it loads on booting. I'm hoping this is truly a one time task and is not needed again (unless changing S button functionality).

Here are the files I downloaded & installed from the esupport site:

    Notebook Control Device Drivers (Vista)
    Filename : SOAOTH-00445800-US.EXE
    Version :6.0.0.2

    Sony Shared Library (XP)
    Filename : SOASSL-00598801-US.EXE
    Version :2.10.00.01250XP

    Sony Setting Utility Series (Vista)
    Filename : SOASUS-01306401-US.EXE
    Version : 2.0.00.11270

    Sony Utilities DLL Update
    Filename : SOASNU-01298604-US.EXE
    Version : 7.0.00.11210

    Vaio Event Services Update
    Filename : SOAVES-01302701-US.EXE
    Version : 3.0.00.13110

It may be that I didn't need all of these, but this is the combination that worked for me. Maybe there's a clue in there for someone else to get one of the older FS series or something else to work.

Thanks to those who posted their success stories before me.

PS - the Vista nvidia drivers on the Sony page linked above also work on this model. You may also want to also grab the TI driver for the memory stick.
