First post, so sorry if this is in the wrong place. I have searched, but can't find the answer!

I have recently bought myself a lovely Vaio VPCCB2C5E with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Unfortunately, however, I need to run a 32 bit version of AutoCAD and after XP compatibility mode wasn't up to the job, installed a 2nd OS of Home Premium 32 bit, which I can boot into as and when I need to. It works great, other than I have no network connectivity when in the 32 bit system. I've tried installing the 32 bit drivers for my Atheros AR9285 card, but it doesn't seem to want to work and I can't make the computer discover the device, which is the other way I know how to do it.

Can anyone offer any advice, and sorry if I'm being stupid!

It's stupid but it works for sure you take your specifications from your model and search each one on the official site of the component manufacturer :D

Yeah - thanks - done that! Should have said. I just can't seem to get it working though.

I've also checked the Windows 7 compatibility site, and it says the device is compatible and that it should install automatically. Is there any way I can force this to happen?

Have you got the wireless switched on? (if it is possible to switch it off)

All sorted - it was because I hadn't activated my operating system....or so they say. It discovered the device as soon as I rebooted however, so perhaps it really was that simple.
