    There so much factor that shows the display quality: Viewing angles, color gamut, response time.... But the most importans are brigthness and contrast value for 99% of users. I collected this data from notebookreview and notebookjournal.

    Pretty much shows that the x200-series has a beautiful bright screen with great contrast... And the CW's have really poor contrast.

    The numbers are calculated with special machines build only for this purpose. So the values are no subjective, only objective. You can trust the values. As you can see Sony laptops with Hi-Color (double lamp) display are good. Others is worse then the competitors. Don't believe the urban legends. See your laptop display before buying and compare with other brands.
