Hi everybody, I've got a vaio sa and I've noticed that it's impossible to activate 3D acceleration within PhotoShop CS5 and AutoCad 2012 when usinge Intel HD graphic card, I have to switch to Radeon 6630M to activate it, is there a way to solve this problem?

The Intel graphics does not have the features and capabilities needed for that. You have to use the discrete GPU. However, while on Intel graphics these programs will use software rendering, which works fine most of the time as the i5/i7 processors have a lot of juice.

Is there any problem with turning on the 6630M? This is one of the reasons for having a discrete GPU at all. ;)

No problem turning on the 6630M, however, since Intel HD 3000 support OpenGL 3.0 and DX 10.1 It seemed to me strange not to be able to activate it

It's not certified by Adobe and Autodesk for useage in those two applications. ESPECIALLY Autocad. IIRC, Intel has released, in certain server/workstation (Xeon) SB based CPU, a "workstation" variant of the HD3000, that has some certifications and driver optimizations.
