I just bought a 505ECP, and am still playing around with it. So far I like it much better than the toshiba I have, but I do have one question regarding the battery. Is it just my unit, or is the battery supposed to be loose on the side that is at the rear of the computer. I am able to wiggle the battery up and down when I have the copputer elevated. Thanks

Yes, there is some wiggle room there and it is normal for this model. I have a v505 BCP and mine does the same. Before I purchased it, I demoed a v505 DC and also made that observation. As long as the battery is seated correctly in the guides and locked in, you shouldn't have any problems.
