Hello, I'm looking for the webcam dirvers for Windows 7 64bit. The 5u876 deviceis not being reconized in device manager. I looked on the Sony site but didn't find. Any ideas?

    Thanks

It's for a VGN-NW125J that my daughter uses for college.

5u876 is a Ricoh Chipset for the MotionEye. Have you tried going to "Windows Update" in the control panel and looking and seeing if there are any optional downloads? Windows 7 has a native driver for that camera.

I have reinstalled the driver now several times. I worked with Sony support and they could not help me. I have restored back to original vista setup and device is still having a problem. I think it is a hardware issue at this point. It get a message saying the device can't start in device manager.

Oh, ok. Then I'd say it's probably failed. So it'd have to be replaced.
