Well, it is 1,8" ZIF... so should work, but the SSD itself may be horrible.

    (e.g. quick performance degradation)

This SSD-drive will make your TZ a very fast machine, compared to original slowster 4200rpm HDD. Good luck with installation! There are about 20 screws need to be removed to reach the bay.

Intel might be faster but that is not going to help here as they don't make 1.8 zif drives. In the market there are not that many choices when it comes to 1.8 zif drives. Really, any 1.8 zif SSD is going to be a step up unless the drive is defective.

Photofast sell quite decent V3+ drives but these are quite expensive. When it comes to upgrading older ultraportables not many people might want to part with that sort of cash.

I don't know what controller that SSD uses, it might be the same what is used in the V2 Photofast drive. You can get a Photofast 64GB V2 drive for $279. I used this drive in my neices laptop and it is a fairly decent 1.8 PATA drive.

    Edited to add:
It has the same controller as the V2 Photofast so expect performance to be on par with the benchmark I posted. There is no real point paying out more for what is essentially the same drive in different packaging.
