This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     8Gbs of RAM in a FW190???

    i was wondering if anybody knows if i can put 8gbs in my fw190. According to sony's website (and tech support), the max is 4GB and they cant confirm that 8 will work. i bought the laptop a year ago and at that time sony wasnt selling any laptops with 8gbs there was a 4gb max. does anybody know if 8gbs would work?
