    9300 in Vaio Z safe?

    Is there any problems with the 9300 in the vaio z? Im asking this because of all the 8400 and 8600 were defective.

    i dont know about problems
    but i've been using this laptop since early november
    and it runs almost everything i installed on it~
    - C&C 3
    - RA C&C 3
    - Oblivion IV (With full set expansion)
    - Fallout 3
    - The Sims 2 (With full set expansion)
    - Warcraft 3
    - World Of Warcraft (With full set expansion)
    - Need For Speed Collection (Most Wanted, Carbon, e.t.c)
    - Left 4 Dead

    So far the only games which I can't seem to get running properly
    - GTA IV (Works with lowest end resolution but wont load graphics properly)
    - Assassin's Creed (Works with lowest end resolution but wont load graphics properly)

    Haven't tried the rest yet~
    Will try these next
    - Mirror's Edge
    - Cyris

    Did you try the new graphic codecs from here? As Nvidia released new drivers just after GTA IV introduction, I would expect (much) better results with the newest drivers. If you'll try it, pls give us results :)


    As for the original question...no one knows I believe, but for now no one reported any problems with 9300M. Nvidia declares the problem doesn't remain in 9 series.
