hey everyone! i just got the sony fz140 today. when i was playing around with the laptop, i discovered that the device manager says that i have the the core 2 duo t7300 (2.0Ghz). however, this model is only supposed to have the t7100 (1.8Ghz). the confusing thing is that on the system properties (going through "computer" and right clicking to properties, i do have the t7100. could my system have the t7300? anyone else seen this on their laptop? thanks for the replies!

relax man,you weren't so luky to get the higher version. It's a common issue in vaio products which shipped with vista.you can find there are also the same scenes in other series.

A similar thing happend to me: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=2205443
I'm wondering now if the drive image that Sony uses for all of the FZ series identifies the processors as T7300s. -
