A couple of issues with my SZ

For the past few days when I start my SZ160 it boots up, the Windows XP Welcome screen comes on and the welcome screen stays on for longer than usual, I'd say about 15 seconds. Then the desktop wallpaper comes up but the taskbar is completely missing, I have to do a hard shut down by holding down the power button. Then when I power up the second time everything is back to normal. This has happened every time I shut down in the past 3 days, before that it never happened.

A second question, even though I have bluetooth deactivated while my SZ boots up the bluetooth light goes on and when everything is booted bluetooth is activated for a couple of seconds and then shuts off. I get the sound like when you disconnect a usb device and then the bluetooth light goes off. Isn't there a way to keep bluetooth from turning on at all when powering up?

 

I had that with a toshiba once, I think something that auto runs is causing the problem. Once you shut down manually it doesn't get saved to autorun the next time. I would format the pc, or try cleaning it up.

Regarding the bluetooth, it's working fine with me. As long as the wireless is off, it doesn't start. Try playing with the settings to have it not auto run. Do you use a bluetooth internet connection? If so maybe it's trying to connect.
