aiite mi question is can the a series have a 128 mb video card? It doesnt have the option on sonystyle.com yet when i look at the specs on bestbuy.com and circuitcity.com, it sais under video memory: sumtin like 64mb and then also (32mb min, 128 max). yet somehow when i went 2 bestbuy, same deal no way to change it on the configuration page. can someone plz tell me whats goin on? otherwise i like the a series the best, jus that it duznt hav 128 mb...im 1 of them pplz who wont get a computer without atleast 128 videocard. a series beats out even dell d800 and i8600, and the hp zd7000 cuz a series combines it all: 17 inch, centrino, dvddualformat burner, 80gb hard drive, built in computer wireless mouse, practically a media center notebook, jus the 128 card confues me[ :(]

    peace[ ;)]

I believe your only option is 64MB. I think the specs you're looking at was their pre-release info. I think they decided on 64MB only. Possibly in the future, they may put this option on, but not at the moment.

FYI, the A190 only gets approx 2hrs of battery life (standard battery), even though it's a Pentium M CPU. A user reported this and said it was most likely because of the huge 17" LCD.

    Venombite,

Just as an FYI, I just ran my A190 at work for 3 hours on the battery and still had 16% left, was working on a spreadsheet and using an SQL database that is quite HDD intensive.... Just have to turn the screen down or press the green button to set it to its lowest setting.

Okay, an update to the above.... I just got 2 hrs 54 minutes of DVD watching with the minimum screen settings. 5% remaining and hibernated.
