This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I recently ran a plethora of benchmarks pertaining to my new laptop (I decided to keep this one even though it doesn't have the tv tuner as the seller gave me a large refund to keep it), here are some numbers from Unreal Tournament 2003:

    Average FPS
    Resolution dm-antalus dm-asbestos ctf-citadel

    1600x1200 43.487705 60.379398 44.527985

    *Demo version used with HardOCP's UT2k3 benchmark utility v2.1; maximum detail setting; no AA/AF

    More numbers, comments, and pics in my upcoming review (I guess it won't be so "mini" afterall [ :p]).

    Needless to say I am quite happy with those results.
