The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hey Guys,

    Does anyone have a copy of the drivers for the AKE USB 3.0 Adaptor that some Vaio Z users here use?

    The hosted site where they previously were have no deleted the files and I can't get it to work. :(

    If anyone knows where I can find a copy, I'd be very appreciative!

    It depends on the chipset. My AKE USB 3.0 adaptor is an NEC, and I got the drivers from here:
    RENESAS/NEC Drivers & Firmwares
    Watch out for the annoying pop-up adverts on that site - it's horrible to use.
